Why Do People Try So Hard?

I think it is sad most people go through life experiencing a lot but a little at the same time. They think the quantity of experience is more relevant than the caliber.  I have learned hanging around the same people becomes kind of redundant unless you have an unusual connection. To hang out just to hang out is like going to the mall just to walk around. You don’t get the whole experience of life if you spend it with people who create cycles rather than doors.  Ultimately you end up closing doors on people who actually could matter because you spend free time on maintaining the same routine. Break it and buy that new routine people. If you aren’t happy, change something, anything. Find someone new to hang around, at least you tried something different.

And when I say to people you need to meet new people they assume “going out” will do this. This is the lamest idea in society. A socially accepted way of meeting but completely unrealistic of having anything pure and real crafted out of an environment with music blasting, beer, and lack of conversation. Have you ever sat alone at a bar on purpose? I have. I sat there for a long time like an old person looking for any signs of life around me and boy did it get boring after a while. And quite depressing. You observe everything since you are not part of it. You become a reader rather than an actor. To see through people is to see truth everywhere you go. When you experience so much socially to the point where people cannot confuse or pull a fast one on you, you see common behaviors in people. They become characters in the fake story they tell you. Their eyes become like daggers and you just want the down to earth person to walk in who has the real story. A person who could talk all night because they have so much to say. Who wants the person who can do one liners and thinks of silence as humble but really it is just stupidity? Why do people feel the need to fit into social norms? Notice how people who go out all the time go out all the time in search of something. Do they really get what they want at the end of the night? Or is the next thought process what are we doing tomorrow night? Usually the second one. And in rare instances I am wrong…I have been proven wrong but if I took the ratio down you can guess what it would prove. Humans are naturally drawn into drama. It is far more difficult to avoid drama. So we must embrace it even if it sucks and learn some things can be made worse. It is up to us to make it better and not to avoid it. So next time you find yourself in a Deja Vu situation laugh at it and get your popcorn cause you know how it will end.

Decoding the High End Demand

Everyone’s a musician

Everyone is a string and hand

Everyone’s a photographer

Everyone is in command

with the high end demand

eyes shut motionless as the words

shun away from the band

no instrument could tune into

what I hear inside my head

Feet stomping over the clefs

playing over the frets

forcing a symbolic death to the history

we all forgot a long time ago

thinking reinvention is the mind’s goal

detaching from the book bindings of those before

who decoded the sounds

created the art we can only hope to ignore

in this world where…

Everyone’s a musician

Everyone is a string and hand

Everyone’s their photographer

Everyone thinks their in command.

I’m Just One

Parents gone….

and I’m all alone…

sitting here for months…

decaying scar tissue and bone…

They left me here all in the dark….

no path, no guidance,

and no key for my heart…..

No protection, no logic,

no past, no eyes,

no future, no base,

and they’re in disguise….

they’re no parents….

no help.. no light…

nothing…

their just teens themselves…

avoiding reconstructing.

I’m just one…

floating around with the sun…

hoping to catch a ray of fun..

feeling as if don’t have anyone…

I’m just one

floating around with the sun..

hoping to leave happily as the day is done

feeling as if the sky has become….

a fallacy

Parents gone..

And I’m all alone..

it’s every teens dream…

but I wish I had a home….

everything I’d need….

money, food,

love, and my keys….

oh please oh please

lay it out in front of me, incorporating my dreams….

I’m just one

floating around with the sun

hoping to catch a ray of fun..

feeling as if I don’t have anyone.

Yea I’m just one

floating around with the sun

blinding my eyes

cuz’ from the past I run

the darkness is done

day is won

I’m complete…

There’s no need for anyone

Less Than and More Than

Those two phrases can be wrapped up in everything from math to philosophy. We tend to think of things as initially missing components. We tend to think of ourselves and other people as robots without a source of power at times. But we must be careful not to lose our sense of adventure and being for the world is a master of creation as far as experiences. And these experiences perhaps make us realize what we do lack which is not a negative thing. To be able to introspect and understand who you are and who you want to be is the most important thing. To admit faults and forgive others for those is essential to build a happy life. It is almost as if you must face the lacking parts of yourself in order to gain anything. And if you do gain insights you must also be careful to not let them make you feel invincible. As humans when we are up we do not want to go down. We all hate when we are running down a hill in excitement and boom you get a mouth full of dirt. However, there is really no meaning or reason for the dirt. It is just there like you, like everyone else. It is there waiting for an assigned meaning. Perhaps taking a face of dirt can be lame to you and you learn nothing but that dirt tastes bad. Or perhaps you see the dirt in your eyes actually opened them to the fact that life is just an absurd game of up and down and you should expect some kind of dirt in the bottom of your ice cream dish. We inscribe meaning through language and visuals all the time but realistically every mind does not experience the same exact situation the same way all the time. However, when we do it reminds us the importance of human connectivity is not to judge another but to share a common emotion in the same moment. It creates a feeling of not being completely alone when in actuality we all are but we all do need each other. We all need to ditch a less than and more than attitude and just be who we are.
